Top 10 features of Volkswagen Connect edition you should know
Volkswagen India, the house that looks after the business of Volkswagen cars (both sales & service) has very recently brought into the Indian market the Vento, Ameo and Polo Connect Editions keeping in view the demand of new vehicles for the festive seasons of Dussehra & Diwali. Passat too has joined the bandwagon and is presently the last one from the house that has got entrance into the segment. However, I’m not sure if Tiguan will enter or not.
If you aren’t aware of the features and good things that come with CONNECT EDITION then here are the benefits that one gets from Connect editions.
- VW Connect App:
The maker is offering an all-new ‘Connect’ assistance software that allows customers to connect respective cars to their mobiles using a plug-and-play data dongle describes PPS Motors. The dongle is fixed on the car’s onboard diagnostics (OBD) port and connects to the smart mobile device through Bluetooth to give vital info.
- Lapiz blue exterior:
Volkswagen even brought out a latest Lapiz blue colored body for all the Connect vehicles. Earlier this was present only on the Passat model. The look is really catchy to me and I tried to get the same finish for my Tiguan when I visited Volkswagen car service Hyderabad and sadly the option wasn’t available.
- Roof foil:
The roof of the car is draped with a black body decal to give a different look from the routine trims.
- ORVM cap in Black:
The OVRMs even get the same black texture giving an added look to the car.
- 16-inch Portago alloy wheels:
Another key revamp comes in the form of 16-inch Portago alloy wheels in grey colour which are completely different from the regular silver toned ones and these are the new attraction.
- Chrome fender badge:
All the Connect models can now brag about a chrome badge on the fender pointing at the distinct trim.
- Modish side foils:
The Connect editions are even furnished with stylish side foils having a ‘Connect’ logo embedded on it.
- Leatherette seat covers in black:
The interiors are now more elegant as they have a completely black theme with stylish & comfortable seats decked with leatherette covers in black. The new seat covers can rightly be called the ones that added extra richness & premium look.
- Aluminum pedals:
The company has even made available aluminum pedals to these cars that give a sporty edge to the interiors.
- Extra safety:
Whilst ABS and EBD come as the standard one in the safety armor, the car manufacturer has upgraded the safety proportion for the Vento Connect Edition with side airbags on the front end.
These features are definitely worth keeping in view the ease of connectivity and robustness they bring in.
