Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is an English artist who is well known for his role as Harry Potter in the same name film series. He was born on July 23, 1989 at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith in London. He is the son of Alan George Radcliffe and Marcia Jeannine Gresham. His father is a fictitious agent whereas his mother is a casting agent who was involved in several famous BBC films. He expressed his interest in acting when he was just five years.
At the age of 10, he made his debut in acting profession in Two-part Adaptation which is a based on the novel David Copperfield authored by Charles Dicken. This was televised in BBC One where he played a title character as a young teenager. In the year 2000, great producer David Heyman asked Radcliffe to try out for Harry Potter’s role in the film adaptation of the best-selling J.K. Rowling’s book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. After a continuous audition for 8 months, Radcliffe was selected for the lead role in the movie. He obtained huge popularity along with positive reviews as the character embodied every reader’s imagination. Later, he acted in the second series of Harry Potter which is ‘Harry potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ followed by third series ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ which was released in 2004. Like this he continued his acting career and later switched to act in movies like The Tailor of Panama, December boys, My Boy Jack and so on. For his incredible acting he has received Best Male Performance, National Movie Award and Global Superstar Award.
